Every tool we ship is measured against these. If a feature can't be built without breaking one, we don't build the feature.

01Not a trial, not a freemium ladder. Every feature ships unlocked, in every country, with no upgrade waiting behind it.
Local by design
02Your data stays inside your browser. We run no servers to store it on, so there is no account to breach and nothing to hand over.
Zero tracking
03No analytics, no fingerprinting, no advertising SDKs. We genuinely do not know who you are or what you read.

04No sign-up, no waitlist, no region locks. Install it and it works — the same way in Berlin, São Paulo or Shenzhen.

Why is it free?
Free software usually has a catch — your attention, your data, or a subscription waiting a few months in. Here is exactly why ours doesn't.
01 There's nothing to sell
Our tools make no network requests at all. Your reading history never reaches us, because it never leaves your browser — so there is no data set to package, sell, or lose.
02 There's almost nothing to run
Everything happens inside your browser. No servers, no databases, no cloud bill that grows with every new user — so “free” isn't a phase we eventually have to grow out of.
03 It's a craft, not a startup
hypai is a small independent effort with no investors to repay and no growth targets to hit. Success is simply whether the tool stays out of your way.
And if that ever changes, you'll read it here first — plainly, and before anything changes inside the product. Existing features will not be moved behind a paywall.
Who's behind this
hypai is an independent software project. We build small browser tools for people who'd rather their software be quiet — the kind of tool you install once, forget about, and only notice because the noise is gone.
There's no company behind it, no team page, no roadmap deck. Just tools that are free to use, work without an account, and keep everything on your own device.
